Born and raised in Bolton, Lancashire UK, Redd (real name Amy Louise) made her first official appearance in 2010 on ITV’s The X Factor reaching the final 50 contestants at Boot Camp. In 2011, Redd signed with Hi Klass Music and released her first single I’m A Day Dreaming featuring Akon & Snoop Dogg, charting across Europe and reaching #1 in Finland and #2 in Japan.
In 2012, Redd released a second single featuring Mr Worldwide (Pitbull) and American Singer/Rapper, Qwote. This went straight into the Japan charts at #8, before climbing to #1 for over 4 weeks; The track titled Bedroom also charted across Europe.
Redd went on to tour a number a LGBTQ Prides across the UK and Spain, making additional live appearances at prestige events and charity fundraisers as well Christmas Light Switch on’s around England, becoming an affiliate of the renowned James Bulger Memorial Trust and accomplishing a series of adrenaline challenges to raise awareness.
Working alongside different labels and producers, Redd has had a number of releases globally working with some of the industry’s best including Rednek (UK), Mad Mark (Germany), Naccarati and Victor Mora (Brazil), and Tim Maxx (Australia) to name a few.
In 2019, Redd made her debut comeback appearance after 3 years away from music at her local Christmas Light Switch on and has recently begun working on new music with her latest single release ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ being picked up by some of the biggest DJs in the UK for official remix.
