Bolton at Home (BH), in partnership with Bolton Food & Drink Festival (which is organised by Bolton Council – BMBC), invite you to get snapping, clicking, and framing and send us your best Food-Related Photos!

Your images might be fun, thought-provoking, cultural, cute, or spontaneous… feel free to be creative.

This competition is open to Everyone and your theme could be:  

> Family Meals   > Cooking Food   > Growing Food   > Community Gatherings   > Cultural Foods 

> Baking   > Sharing Food  > Or ANY other subject, as long as your photo has something to do with Food!

  • Closing Date:

Your entry must reach us no later than 9.00am on Monday 21 September 2020

  • Please read ALL of the information below:

Including the “Privacy Notice” and the “Additional Terms and Conditions”

  • How To Enter:

> Send your Food-Related Photos by EMAIL to:  BAHphoto@outlook.com

> In the Subject box, write: “Photo Comp Entry”

> You can submit up to 3 photos (new or old images)… But the size of your Email must be less than 5MB… (Consider sending each photo in a separate Email if they are big files)

> Include your Name + Address + Email + Telephone Number in the Email. (If the photographer is under 18, please mention this and include the Name + Address + Email + Telephone Number of their parent/guardian)

> Include a brief description of each photo (e.g. Where it was taken, Who is in it, etc)

 Then send us your entry!… Once received, we’ll email you to confirm that: 

  1. a) you are the owner of the photos;
  2. b) you have the permission of everyone shown in the photos;
  3. c) you consent to the use of the photos in the competition;
  4. d) you agree to the terms and conditions; and e) you haven’t breached any public guidance when taking the photos.

> You will need to reply to our email for your entry to be confirmed (so please keep an eye on your inbox).

  • Judging:

A panel of BH and BMBC representatives, together with an experienced Arts Professional/Photographer, will judge all entries and select the winners. (Photos and Entrant’s Names will be the only Personal Data that is shared with judges and all entrants will be notified of their result by Email).

  • Prizes:

1st Place     =   Samsung Galaxy Tab A  +  Inclusion in Digital Gallery

2nd Place   =   £70 Amazon Gift Card  +  Inclusion in Digital Gallery

3rd Place    =   £30 Amazon Gift Card  +  Inclusion in Digital Gallery

4th Place    =   Inclusion in Digital Gallery (multiple photos will be selected)

  1. Should any unforeseen circumstances arise, the organisers may vary or amend the promotion, process,

terms, conditions and prizes, and no liability shall attach to the organisers as a result thereof.

Privacy Notice

> To enter, you will provide BH and BMBC with some personal data (such as your name and contact details). BH and BMBC are the joint data controllers of your personal data and we require it, and will use it as follows:   a) to communicate with the competition entrants;   b) to distribute prizes;   c) each entrant’s Name (and no other personal data) will be displayed publicly alongside each photo, wherever they are displayed, in both digital and physical spaces.

> Personal data will only be used in relation to this competition and retained for no longer than 1 year.
