Simon is probably best known as chef and co-presenter of Sunday Brunch, the Sunday morning show waking up the nation with a mix of chat, current affairs, guests and food.
He's also appeared on numerous other TV programmes including co-hosting Channel 4's documentary ‘Tricks of the Restaurant Trade’ and pitting his cooking talents against other top chefs on the Great British Menu.
Originally studying fashion and textile design Simon took a different career path, teaching himself to cook. He opened Greens vegetarian restaurant in Manchester in 1990 with The Guardian described it as one of the most exciting new restaurants in the UK. He opened his second restaurant, Earle, in Hale in 2006.
Simon has published four books, The Accidental Vegetarian, The Rebel Cook, Lazy Brunch and The Seasoned Vegetarian.
