Nutritious Meals in Minutes

Join Joan Farnworth from NHS Bolton's Community Nutrition Team as she cooks up healthy dishes using products fresh from the Market. Sample dishes and pick up recipe cards, so you can recreate the dishes at home.

Love Food Hate Waste
Thursday 27 August
Join the Love Food Hate Waste team who'll be showing you how to make economic use of the odds and ends that invariably get leftover from precious meals, forgotten in the fruit bowl or at the back of the fridge...and how they can taste delicious. Make your food go further on a budget and cook up tasty meals in minutes. Sample dishes and pick up recipe cards, so you can recreate the dishes at home.

The beans, the whole beans and nothing but the beans!
Thursday 27 August
Learn how coffee's grown, roasted and delivered to your cup. There will also be latte art demonstrations and a chance to try out the espresso machine. All proceeds on the night will go to Bolton Hospice. Food and drink will be available to purchase.

Greek Music & Meze Banquet Night

Speciality Market
Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August
The speciality market will fill Victoria Square and beyond, offering everything from arts and crafts to mouth-watering food and drink products. It's your opportunity to sample and buy some of Europe's finest foods, as well as the best of British right in the heart of Bolton. You'll find everything from Spanish paella, continental cheeses and a German Beer Keller to Lancashire black puddings, hog roast, sweet crepes and homemade ice cream. Whatever your taste, there's something for everyone.
